Mirakutei Sushi & Ramen: Authentic Sushi and Ramen Experience in Portland

Hard to find a place that does both ramen and sushi well. Tonkotsu was flavorful, rainbow roll was super fresh, big windows were cozy on a rainy day

Insane. Delicious. Solid recommendations from the wait staff and even more delightful eats. The Pacific Northwest roll, salmon flight, and miso with Ramon plus egg plus pork was incredible. Definitely favorite sushi and ramen in Portland.

Best ramen I’ve ever had. The house sake/ sushi was incredible and service was perfect. I think our servers name was Rachel , she was awesome !

My 4 children and their families were in town - a rare treat, as they’re as widely scattered as Australia. We searched for a Japanese restaurant, aware that it’s menu would cater to gluten free and vegan. We were DELIGHTED with our choice, as everything we ordered was beautifully presented-and delicious!

I have been coming here for years. In my opinion this is one of the most underrated sushi restaurants in town. A hidden gem, truly. Their food is always fresh, creative, and beautifully plated. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. Parking is surprisingly not bad, at most I’ve had to park 2-3 blocks away. Atmosphere wise, sometimes I wish they would dim their lights sooner, or maybe even modernize the space with new decor and art. Lots of blank wall space, but also really chic and clean in the regard. Did I mention their sake list is super robust and absolutely delicious? Anyway, definitely come here if you love sushi, sake, and a good time.

Alexa was super attentive to my needs and answered all the questions I had. I chose a Sapporo for beer and tried "Cabin in the snow" Sake which was refreshing before trying their amazing Ramen. I got the House Tonkotsu Ramen . Full of flavor, mushrooms and noodles. They were even sweet to my service animal. I would recommend doing business with this establishment again.

One of our favorite places in Portland. Service and ambiance is always nice with plenty of seating and really like the calm and chill atmosphere. Sushi is fresh and I always go for their chirashi bowl. They have a pretty decent size sake list and a full bar. Minus one star because sometimes their chirashi can be a hit and miss. I feel like with the cost of the chirashi, miso soup should be included (personal preference). Prices are reasonable though.

Great ambiance | Great Service | Delicious Wow, it was our first time coming here. The whole aesthetic/ atmosphere is beautiful. I loved the colors and textures used. It’s very clean and organized. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was great and tended to our needs. We ordered miso soup, edamame, salmon flight sashimi, chicken skewers, Sapporo miso ramen without egg and gluten free noodles, and green tea. Miso soup was excellent and served at perfect temperature. Not salty and the seaweed was thicker than other places. They give more edamame than most places too! The Salmon sashimi was delicious and beautifully presented. The Sapporo Ramen was delicious! That broth was so good, not salty! Highly recommend this one, and if you want to add some spice, you can request the spicy version. The pork slices were perfect with not too much fat but full of flavor. Loved that the toppings were the right amount so that when you’re down to eating noodles, you still have enough corn and sprouts with every bite. We will be back. This is a great lunch and dinner spot in a good location.
